Michael McIntosh
Michael embodies the Wyoming work ethic that has been instilled in him from a young age. Growing up in a family business, he learned the value of hard work and dedication. Michael's journey began at the young age of four when he started working in his family's business after his father was injured on a highway construction site. Growing up in a family of entrepreneurs taught Michael the value of hard work and determination, and he has carried these traits with him throughout his life.
At just 14 years old, Michael started his first business, selling toys on consignment in retail businesses throughout the City of Casper. This entrepreneurial spirit led him to convince his parents to eventually purchase one of the businesses where he had his toys on consignment, as well as to take over a game room across town. He worked tirelessly to grow all three businesses, involving his own siblings in the process. Despite the eventual closure of his store due to unforeseen circumstances, Michael never lost his drive to succeed.
Throughout his career, Michael has taken on various roles, including Night Manager of a large restaurant, bean cleaner in Texas, and oilfield worker. Eventually, he landed in retail management, overseeing several multi-million-dollar sports stores in CA. After an injury on the job, he returned to Wyoming to recover and complete his college degrees. While in school, he became a licensed insurance agent, assisting local agents in managing their offices.
Michael's diverse experiences and expertise in business management led him to start his consulting business, where he helped struggling entrepreneurs run their businesses and manage their taxes. After a successful nine-year tenure running a statewide sales force, Michael still found time to assist fellow business owners, train them to be better managers, and serve his community. He serves as a commissioner for the Planning and Zoning Commission in Casper and even served as an interim City Council member in 2022. Michael's hard work, dedication, and commitment to excellence are a testament to his character and his passion for helping others succeed.
